About the Role
We’re looking for an Infrastructure and Security Analyst to help keep the Club’s tech running smoothly and securely across our offices, training facilities, events, and game days. In this role, you’ll look after our core systems like Active Directory and Microsoft 365 (Entra, Azure, Intune, Exchange, Teams, Purview), as well as key infrastructure including Palo Alto firewalls, Arista/Cisco networking, NetApp storage, and Hyper‑V.
Security is a big part of what you’ll do. You’ll help manage access, keep our AI platforms safe, run cyber security controls, and stay on top of alerts, vulnerabilities, access checks, backups, and other day‑to‑day security tasks.
You’ll also be one of the go‑to people for tech support—both in person and remotely. That includes helping staff with troubleshooting, handling service desk tickets, setting up and deactivating user accounts and devices, and completing routine tasks like backups and recovery testing. Some work outside standard hours may be needed during events and football games.
Responsibilities
* Administer, monitor & maintain core systems including Active Directory and Microsoft 365 – Entra, Azure, InTune, Security, Exchange, Teams, Purview & other Admin centres.
* Administer, monitor & maintain core infrastructure including Firewall (Palo-Alto), Network switching inc WiFi (Arista, Cisco), Storage (NetApp) & Virtualisation (Hyper-V)
* Support and operate privileged access controls, including administrative role separation, least‑privilege access, and secure credential management.
* Maintain\Implement data security across AI platforms.
* Implement and operate cyber security controls aligned to established frameworks, policies, and incident response playbooks.
* Maintain operational security hygiene through regular review of alerts, vulnerabilities, access, backups, and monitoring outputs.
* Provide technical support (diagnosis\troubleshooting\resolution) both in person and remote, for staff, venues, events and football games as required which include non-standard business hours where required.
* Contribute to the operation and resolution of service desk requests:
o Help desk tickets
o Provisioning\Deprovisioning user accounts, computers & other devices
o Complete recurring tasks – e.g. Backups & Recovery testing
* Work with external providers and vendors.
* Documenting IT procedures and configurations.
About You
You’re a practical, hands‑on IT professional who enjoys working close with technology and takes pride in keeping systems running securely and reliably. You’re comfortable operating across a broad environment.
* Solid, hands‑on experience across IT infrastructure and systems administration, including Microsoft 365 and on‑premise or hybrid environments.
* Practical exposure to networks, firewalls, switching, Wi‑Fi, storage and virtualisation.
* A working understanding of cyber security fundamentals & frameworks, with experience supporting endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation and incident response activities.
* Experience contributing to backup, recovery and operational resilience, including testing and real‑world recovery scenarios.
* Strong troubleshooting capability, with the ability to think logically under pressure and resolve issues end‑to‑end.
* A genuine interest in improving how technology environments are run and supported.
