Sacred Heart Primary School is located in the heart of the Latrobe Valley on the lands of the Gunaikurnai People, approximately 150 kilometres east of Melbourne. With an enrolment of 106 students, we are proud of our diverse, welcoming community and strong team culture.
We are seeking a passionate and motivated teacher specialising in Physical Education or STEM. This position has a maximum of 0.6 FTE, it is a flexible position (1–3 days per week) and may be shared between suitable applicants.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and implement a range of engaging teaching programs.
- Monitor, evaluate and report on student progress.
- Use student data to inform teaching and support learning outcomes.
- Contribute to whole-school goals aligned with the strategic plan.
- Model exemplary teaching practice and engage in reflective practice.
- Participate in professional discussions and ongoing learning.

Essential Knowledge and Experience
- Current VIT registration (or eligibility for Permission to Teach).
- Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school (advantageous).
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and manage classrooms effectively.
- Strong knowledge of current educational standards and student needs.
- Demonstrated ability to differentiate learning for diverse abilities.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to Catholic education, child safety, and student wellbeing.
