As a custody officer, you will play a key role in the management and welfare of individuals in police care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage persons in custody to ensure their health, wellbeing, safety, and supervision.
* Cooperate with internal and external stakeholders regarding custody management, transportation, and attendance.
* Carry out prisoner management duties, including correspondence, registers, reports, and administrative tasks.
* Supervise individuals in court custody.
You require strong communication skills, honesty, integrity, good character, leadership abilities, resilience, and community-mindedness.
The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training at the police academy.
