The Role
A Bulk Cryogenic Tanker Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of cryogenic gases (CO₂, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Argon) to customers across metropolitan and regional South Australia. The role requires a competent and professional driver capable of working independently, adhering to all relevant transport legislation, and upholding Toll safety standards and customer service expectations
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate bulk cryogenic tankers and associated equipment.
* Load and unload cryogenic products in accordance with SOPs and DG regulations.
* Ensure compliance with all road transport laws, fatigue management, and load restraint guidelines.
* Accurately complete run sheets, delivery documentation, and vehicle checklists.
* Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness, presentation, and mechanical condition.
* Report any incidents, hazards, or maintenance issues promptly.
* Wear appropriate PPE and maintain a professional appearance.
* Participate in safety initiatives, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.
* Comply with all Toll policies including Drug & Alcohol, WHS, and Emergency Response procedures.
Skills & Experience
* MC Class Licence
* Dangerous Goods Licence (essential)
* BFM Certification
* Road train & B-double experience
* Product knowledge: CO₂, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Argon
* Familiarity with South Australian metro and regional routes
* Ability to load/unload bulk tankers safely
* Strong understanding of DG transport regulations
