About the Role
As a technical expert in building advisory, you will provide specialist advice on residential building issues, including repairs, rectification works and compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical guidance on repair methodologies, building compliance and scope assessment
• Conduct thorough reviews of scopes of work, quotes and specialist reports to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
• Offer support to stakeholders on complex repairs, providing advice on risk mitigation and repair standards
• Collaborate with engineers, geo-techs and certifiers to resolve technical challenges and identify causes of damage
• Conduct site inspections to confirm adherence to building codes and standards
• Identify risks and potential fraud, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and internal policies
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technical training through staying informed on industry developments and best practices
