Job Description Due to significant contract awards within our Water business, we are expanding our Water Infrastructure team in Melbourne.The Water Infrastructure group provides services to a range of internal and external clients on projects covering water and wastewater treatment, dams, asset management, major conveyance, industrial, civil infrastructure, and defence sectors, with a key focus on supporting sustainable outcomes for our clients and the communities they serve.By joining our team, you'll be immersed in a strong, long‐term pipeline of work, handling complex, large‐scale and iconic projects across ANZ.ResponsibilitiesLead the design and delivery of water and wastewater conveyance infrastructure, including pipelines, pump stations, and network upgradesDrive projects from concept through to delivery, from planning, detailed design, and construction supportWork with clients and multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, compliant design solutionsReview and oversee engineering outputs to ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment with standardsMentor junior engineers and build strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders across projectsQualificationsRelevant tertiary qualificationsProven experience in water and wastewater conveyance design, including pipelines, pump stations, and hydraulic systemsAbility to lead or coordinate design packages, including managing deliverables and multidisciplinary interfacesExperience working in a consulting environment, with clear communication skills and confidence in technical discussionsProven capability to review and verify engineering outputs, ensuring alignment with relevant standards, codes, and project requirementsAbility to quickly build rapport with clients and various stakeholdersBenefitsFlexible work arrangements, including alternative start/finish times, part‐time, job‐sharing and hybrid work optionsPurchase up to 6 weeks additional annual leave per yearVolunteer and representation leaveFlex public holidays – swap Easter or other holidays for ones that suit you betterWe welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, including those with disabilities, additional health or mental health needs, and/or neurodiverse conditions.
