Overview
Maitland City Council is seeking a vibrant and proactive Talent Acquisition Assistant to support the Talent Acquisition function and the wider Human Resources team. In this role, you will provide administrative support to Council's end‐to‐end recruitment process, with a strong focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Managing and posting job advertisements
* Organising and scheduling interview panels
* Conducting pre‐employment checks
* Coordinating employee onboarding and hosting Council's staff induction
* Data integrity management within Council's applicant tracking system and employee management software
* Provide high quality administrative support across the broader Human Resources directorate, collaborating closely with team members to ensure efficient and effective operations
Qualifications and Skills
* Certificate III in Business Administration or a related discipline, and/or demonstrated experience within recruitment
* Strong understanding of recruitment processes gained from a similar position with high‐level administrative support to a busy talent or HR team
* Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a commitment to delivering a positive and professional experience for internal and external stakeholders

* Permanent full-time role, 35 hours per week, salary ranging from $66,927 - $74,289 + 12% super
