The Role

An excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our Technology Team and contribute to our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central global implementation. Reporting to our Group Technology Architect this role will work closely with our team and implementation partner to ensure a smooth and successful delivery of Dynamics 365 Business Central. This is an office-based role at either our Tamworth or Gold Coast locations.

Responsibilities

- Analysis and Design – Collaborate with internal teams to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements for the Dynamics 365 system.
- Document requirements and validate with stakeholders to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with our implementation partner on the solution design.
- Implementation and Configuration – Assist in data preparation and validation for testing and system go-live.
- Testing and quality assurance – ensure the implemented solutions meet the defined requirements and function as expected.
- Enhance and develop system reports and output documents to meet business needs.
- Configure and maintain profiles (roles), permission sets, security groups and approval workflows.
- Training, Support, Maintenance and System Administration – Train users on how to effectively use the Dynamics 365 system.
- Document system processes and create training materials.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner, escalating to the implementation partner as required.
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance and system administration.
- Performance Optimisation and Continuous Improvement – Monitor Dynamics 365 system performance, identify inefficiencies and implement optimisation strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement adapting to changes and ensuring the solution remains aligned with business goals.
- Stay up to date with the latest Dynamics 365 enhancements and provide recommendations to continuously improve the system.

Qualifications

- Experience: 5+ years in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations and support.
- Extensions: Experience with Aptean Food and Beverage and Continia (Document Capture and Expense Management) an advantage.
- Functional Knowledge: Strong understanding of finance, supply chain and business operations.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system/process issues.
- Communication Skills: Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms and work with different stakeholders.
- Experience in ERP migrations and data integrations.
- Ability to provide occasional support after hours.
- Knowledge of PowerBI, Power Automate and other Microsoft tools an advantage.
- Experience in agriculture / livestock / manufacturing industries an advantage.
