As a Food Service Assistant your responsibilities will include:
* Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
* Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays
* Assist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dish and pot washing as required.
* Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture.
* Provide high standard of customer service
* Operate in line with WHS policy & procedures
* Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
* Previous experience in a hospital hospitality setting (desirable)
* Food Handler Certificate or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
* Commitment to service excellence.
* Strong communication and customer skills
* Work well independently and within a team
* Flexibility / Ability to work early/ late shifts andweekend work
* Available for on call shifts
