Job Description Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Metering Field Manager to join Service Stream in our Welshpool facility.
About the Role
Service Stream's Energy and Water division are currently seeking an Electrical Metering Field Manager to join our growing company. This role ensures that operational and technical requirements are met, that Company and Client policies and procedures and statutes are complied with, and that relevant KPI's are met or exceeded. The goal is to safely and compliantly manage the profitable growth of the WA Electrical Metering Exchange and Installation team across all Contracts where such services are prescribed.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote a systematic approach to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Issues across team, ensuring adherence to all HSE Policies & Procedures.
- Lead, direct, supervise and coordinate the activities of employees and sub-contractors in your care.
- Implement current work practices in the field and recommend changes to ensure that all activity is performed in the most efficient, cost-effective and safe manner possible.
- Resolve conflicts within your group and manage poor performance (i.e.: work practices/output, defects, attendance, punctuality, failure to report, customer complaints etc.)
- Participate in meetings with Clients (as required).
- Plan, develop and oversee the delivery of all required "in-house" training for field staff and sub-contractors.
- Act as the primary local reference for technical expertise on matters related to meter exchange and installation activities.
- Develop coordinate and manage toolbox meetings in accordance with Company requirements.
Experience Required
To be successful in this role, you will have experience with
- Managing teams of metro and remotely based FTE and sub-contractor resources.
- Substantial contemporary exposure to WC and CT meter exchange, installations and panel preparation in residential and C&I; environments. Sub-Station and Switching experience highly regarded.
- Customer facing engagement, dealing with opportunity and challenges.
Qualifications Required:
- A Class Electricians Licence (mandatory)
- Diploma -Electrical Engineering (Desirable)
- Cert IV Training and Assessment (Desirable)
- Class C Drivers Licence
