Remote Work Context: DIDO (employee to provide own transport)
Reports To: Project Manager
About the Role:
We are assisting a mining client seeking an experienced Project (Site) Administrator to support their Major Projects Execution Team. This role is ideal for someone high-energy, resilient, and organised — with a knack for Excel and a calm head under pressure.
You'll provide key administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of a major construction project on-site. This role suits someone comfortable working in a compliance-heavy, brownfields-style environment.
Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
* Maintain accurate team rosters, track leave, and log hours for internal personnel.
* Keep updated records of contractor resourcing, including hours worked and any absences.
* Assist with onboarding for new staff and contractors — including organising equipment, inductions, vehicles, PPE, and documentation.
* Support site purchasing via SAP (or similar), and assist with cost tracking in collaboration with the project team.
* Manage travel, accommodation bookings, and training coordination.
* Maintain office supplies, PPE stock, and organise replenishment as needed.
* Handle general admin tasks such as document formatting, filing, meeting minutes, agendas, and reporting.
* Track and schedule vehicle servicing and log weekly kilometres.
* Liaise with IT for any access or connectivity issues.
* Support end-of-month reporting and timesheet validations.
* Assist with contract admin and procurement support.
* Ensure safety-related documentation and admin are kept up to date.
Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in mining, construction, or project-based environments.
* Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel — formulas, logs, tracking sheets).
* SAP experience is a plus, but not essential.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Confident communicator who can work autonomously and within a team.
* Ability to work well under pressure and deal with competing priorities.
Benefits:
* Competitive hourly rate.
* Flexible roster options (5:2 or 14:7).
* Camp accommodation provided.
* Opportunity to work on a high-profile, long-term project.
* Supportive team environment with hands-on leadership.
* Exposure to a wide variety of project functions and stakeholders.
* Career-building experience within the mining and resources sector.
