Nature’s Care Manufacture Pty Ltd is a producer of premium grade Extra Virgin Olive Oil from the olives cultivated at our 110,000 tree Grove in Hillston NSW. The trees are comprised of certified Italian cultivars, originated from mother stock imported to Australia from Italy approximately 16 years ago.
Nature’s Care Manufacture is seeking a competent Olive Oil Plant Extraction Specialist, familiar with our Italian Olive tree cultivars (Frantoio, Leccino, Pendolino and Coratina) and with expertise in operating Pieralisi Technology to run our two processing lines. In particular, the applicant has to have a certificate in olive milling and at least 2 years of experience with Pieralisi Technology of the DMF fully automated series and with the Pieralisi Jumbo 3 phase manual processing line.
In addition, applicant must have mechanical skills in maintenance (ordinary and extraordinary) of all the parts of the olive oil plant extraction and sensorial testing skills in order to classify and store the various oils.
Successful applicant will directly work with our company, where food, accommodation and other facilities will be provided during the harvesting period which is usually for a period of up to 6 months. The rate of pay is $35 per hour.
Responsibilities
· Applicants are required to demonstrate their knowledge on site by using the processing line and participating in the panel test (organoleptic testing of oil).
· Responsible for centrifugal separation and extraction process of olive oil
· Operating, maintenance, servicing and management of olive oil equipment and machinery
· Setting up machines to start a production cycle; controlling and adjusting machine settings
· Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools; test operation of machines periodically
· Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws and fix issues
· Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
Skills or Experience Required
· A Certificate in Olive Milling
· At least 2 years experience with Pieralisi Technology of the DMF fully automated series and with the Pieralisi Jumbo 3 phase manual processing line
· Knowledge of Italian Olive tree cultivars (Frantoio, Leccino, Pendolino and Coratina) with expertise in operating Pieralisi Technology to run two processing lines.
