OverviewWe are a multidisciplinary team of dedicated heritage specialists who are passionate about our work.Echoes Cultural Heritage Management (ECHM) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Archaeologist / Cultural Heritage Skilled to join our team in Perth.
Our team has extensive knowledge and experience in both Aboriginal and Historical heritage management, and this role will suit someone who can both build on, and learn from, the diverse experience of our dynamic team.
We provide our clients with expertise in field surveys, heritage management, heritage assessments, impact assessments, excavation, salvage, and community consultation.About the RoleAs an Archaeologist / Cultural Heritage Professional you will be responsible for undertaking heritage surveys and consultations in line with Scopes of Work, recording / assessing heritage places following a potentially diverse range of client requirements, liaising with clients and stakeholders while in the field, and managing other heritage consultants while in the field.You will undertake desktop research required to familiarise yourself with existing understandings of heritage within relevant survey areas, you will be familiar with the State and Commonwealth heritage legislation, and you will record heritage values in line with the relevant legislation or agreement.
You will contribute to our high standard reporting, which is tailored to our client's needs and expectations, while always consistent with our ethical responsibilities.
You will have a well-developed ability for fostering positive relationships with clients and communities and demonstrate diligence and integrity.You will report to, and be supported by, ECHM Senior Management and will be based in our Perth office.
