Human Resources Manager – Sydney Head Office A great opportunity is available for an experienced HR Manager to lead the people function for a global organisation from their Australian head office. This is a standalone senior generalist role where you’ll work directly with leadership, provide trusted HR advice, and help shape the people strategy across the business. Some hybrid flexibility is available. What you’ll be doing Managing the full employee lifecycle: workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, development and offboarding Building recruitment strategies and supporting employer‑branding initiatives Maintaining job descriptions, organisational structure updates and HR documentation Overseeing performance, feedback and progression frameworks Providing advice to leaders on employee relations, performance matters and complex HR issues Conducting or coordinating investigations and conflict‑resolution processes Identifying people‑related risks and ensuring best‑practice management Leading culture, engagement, retention and leadership‑capability initiatives Ensuring compliance with Fair Work, Modern Awards, WHS and general employment legislation Managing employment contracts, policies, procedures and HR records Coordinating payroll with an external provider and maintaining accurate reporting Overseeing leave management and related data Handling immigration and visa sponsorship requirements in partnership with migration specialists What you’ll bring 3–5 years’ experience in a senior HR generalist or HR Manager role Relevant qualifications in HR, IR, Business or similar Solid understanding of Australian and NZ employment legislation and award requirements Experience working with payroll processes and compliance Strong judgement, communication skills and stakeholder‑management capability Ability to operate autonomously and confidently influence senior leaders Industry experience in logistics or related sectors is beneficial but not required (training provided) What’s on offer Competitive salary super 4 weeks annual leave Subsidised wellness/fitness initiative Hybrid work options Opportunity to impact HR strategy within a global organisation If you are interested please apply.
