Universal Store is looking for a creative, inspiring, dedicated leader to join the team.

The role includes leadership responsibilities and a focus on delivering excellent customer experiences.
We are seeking candidates for two leadership tracks and seasonal team members to support Christmas trade across multiple locations.
The Seasonal Store Team Member roles are casual positions available October 2025 through February 2026.
What we're looking for
As 2IC you will partner with the Store Manager to inspire a team and create positive experiences for customers.
You should lead from the front, engage the team, and contribute to a store environment that welcomes and excites our customers every time they visit.
A natural team player who can adapt to changing environments and share retail skills is preferred.
Fashion retail know-how with hands-on experience from stock room to shop floor.
Warmth and enthusiasm.
A strong voice, an open mind and the ability to respond rather than react.
Proven ability to create a sales-driven culture to meet and exceed sales goals.
Willingness to go above and beyond when needed.
A true service ethic that defines every decision you make.
Flexibility and positive reaction to change.
Strong commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage multiple tasks.
The right person must communicate positively at all levels and be able to train, coach and give/receive feedback.
Responsibilities
Ensure the highest level of customer care in line with Universal Store service expectations.
Support development and training; coach and mentor team members.
Foster a sales-oriented environment through daily coaching and support.
Implement visual merchandising (VM) and promotional strategies per company guidelines.
Provide stock insights and oversee inventory management for the store.
