The Role:Splunk Security Solution Architects serve as subject matter experts for Splunk Security products, providing expertise and experience in the broader security landscape.
You will support Splunk account teams, including sales and pre-sales resources, to develop tailored security solutions for customers.
You will act as the "eyes & ears" for the field, offering expert guidance to help organizations improve their security and resilience.
Responsibilities:Establish and maintain valuable relationships with clients and partners.Collaborate with account teams to understand sales strategies and support activities such as briefings, demos, proposals, Proof of Values (POVs), integrations, and issue resolution for our security portfolio.Engage with customers to understand their security architecture, infrastructure, and cybersecurity objectives, aligning Splunk product capabilities with their priorities.Demonstrate Splunk's security products and services onsite, remotely via webinars, and at events like conferences and trade shows.Respond to functional and technical inquiries in RFIs/RFPs.Lead resolution of technical and integration challenges.Be self-motivated with a proven track record in technical software sales and security technology knowledge.Communicate clearly and effectively in emails, reports, and presentations, demonstrating strong collaboration and presentation skills.Note: We can guide you on technology, soft skills, and processes.
A strong sense of self-motivation, curiosity about technological possibilities, enthusiasm for teamwork, and a positive attitude are essential.Requirements:Splunk Certified Administrator or sufficient knowledge to administer Splunk Enterprise and solutions.5+ years of successful pre-sales engineering, systems integration, or equivalent experience in cybersecurity.Familiarity with cyber threats, malware, incident response (IR), SIEM, automation tools, endpoint technology, and threat intelligence.Experience with installation, configuration, and administration of enterprise hardware and software, including networking (firewalls, proxies, routing, switching), enterprise software (antivirus, email security, vulnerability management, TIP, databases).Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Familiarity with scripting languages, particularly Python.Industry certifications like SANS GIAC, CISSP, CISM are highly desirable.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical, non-technical, executive, and leadership audiences.Splunk, a Cisco company, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
