About The Role And Team
We have an exciting opportunity for a Performance & Rewards Advisor to join our People & Culture team. The Performance & Rewards Advisor supports the review and implementation of performance and rewards programs. This role works closely with the Performance & Rewards Manager and the broader People & Culture (P&C) team to ensure rewards strategies are data-driven, equitable, and aligned with the firm's strategic goals. The P&C team includes P&C Business Partnering; P&C Operations; Talent Acquisition; Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing; Learning & Development; Performance & Rewards; Early Careers; and Systems & Reporting.
This role will ideally be based in Melbourne, however there is flexibility for the role to be based in Sydney for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinating the annual performance review and remuneration review processes, including benchmarking surveys and reporting;
* Maintaining the Career Development framework and linkages with performance and other people programs;
* Supporting the implementation, communication and engagement of performance management processes;
* Submitting the remuneration benchmarking surveys; analysing data and preparing summary reports;
* Preparing reports and presentations with quantitative and qualitative insights for internal stakeholders;
* Monitoring legislative changes affecting remuneration and benefits and supporting compliance efforts;
* Liaising with external providers to support reward initiatives;
* Providing support to partners and employees regarding performance and rewards related inquiries;
* Participating in the development and delivery of training programs related to performance management and rewards systems;
* Supporting Employee Engagement including surveys and results presentations;
* Conducting gender pay gap analysis;
* Liaising with the Systems and Reporting team on the relevant systems and portal (i.e. Performance Leader, CultureAmp and Hall & Wilcox intranet); and
* Providing analytical support and ad hoc advice.
About You
* At least 2 years' experience in a remuneration and benefits specialist role within professional services ideally with some exposure to the legal industry;
* Degree-level education; Commerce or Business-related qualifications advantageous;
* Excellent data analysis skills with advanced proficiency in Excel;
* Ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations (PowerPoint) with clear insights and recommendations;
* Understanding of performance, remuneration, and benefits;
* Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills;
* Ability to build relationships across various levels of the organisation; and
* Experience in professional services or legal sector (desirable).
