We have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Receptionist to join us at our clinic in Wollongong – The Cardiac Centre NSW, on a permanent full-time basis. As the Medical Receptionist you are responsible for providing friendly administrative support to our staff and clinicians, booking and rescheduling testing, liaising with hospital staff and Doctors. What you’ll do: Work efficiently in a fast-paced administrative role where patient care is our focus Act as the first point of contact to patients, greeting them on arrival and accurately processing relevant paperwork Adapt to and manage an environment where there is ongoing change and competing priorities Manage a large volume of telephone enquiries Billing and receipting of patient accounts Document scanning and reconciling daily banking Booking and rescheduling patient appointments for testing and consulting. Who you are: Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care and customer service, ideally in a medical/healthcare environment Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to efficiently work as a proactive member of a multi-disciplinary team Experience in billing/receipting medical accounts, Medicare and DVA billing Exceptional phone manner and ability to handle a high volume of patient enquiries High attention to detail and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
