As a conference organiser, you will screen matters referred for a family dispute resolution conference to ensure compliance with commonwealth guidelines before scheduling conferences with clients. You will have knowledge of the dispute resolution process and will provide information to clients and external legal practitioners. You will also be responsible for other administrative activities including data entry and reporting.
**In this role you will**:
- Conduct intake and screening of all matters referred for a family dispute resolution conference to ensure compliance with the commonwealth guidelines.
- Provide general information to conference clients and external legal practitioners in relation to family dispute resolution conference files or the process.
- Schedule family dispute resolution conferences including sending correspondence and calling clients and the conference chairperson to negotiate appointments.
- Input accounts authorised for payment and attend to finalisation of conferencing files.
- Maintain conferencing data and report as required to Dispute Resolution Service's staff.
- Perform all necessary administrative functions to support the family dispute resolution conference process.
- Help with administrative activities including opening and closing the office, maintaining equipment and supplies, mail, records management and other activities as directed.
- Actively participate in team planning and service improvement activities and comply with corporate responsibilities.
