Job Description
* Undertake triaging and assessment of new referrals.
* Provide high-standard mental health assessments, including case formulations and risk assessments, to develop recovery care plans.
* Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as individual and group programs.
* Collaborate with consumers, their families, and relevant service systems to respond to mental health needs.
* Maintain liaison with internal and external service systems regarding mental health needs.
* Participate in service enhancement activities and initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Provisional or general registration as a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or Mental Health Nurse, or Tertiary level education in Social Work with registration or eligibility.
* Knowledge and experience in clinical mental health assessment and evidence-based interventions.
* Demonstrated computer skills and ability to maintain clinical records.
* Positive attitude and commitment to personal growth.
* Understanding of public, non-government, and private mental health systems.
* Interpersonal skills for working with people with mental illness.
* Able to work creatively, collaboratively, and effectively as a team member.
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
* Eligible for Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance.
