- Researching audience needs and keeping up to date on audience and marketing trends, and marketing tools and technology to inform the development of evidence-based strategies.
- Overseeing the analysis of audience and marketing performance data that supports State Library's marketing efforts. This includes audience surveys, audience market research, building audience and information databases, working with marketing data, campaign and channel evaluations and analytics reports and dashboards.
- Supervising work of the Customer Relationship Management Administrator's role to manage and maintain the integrity of the CRM (Raiser's Edge).
- Managing the procurement and coordination of State Library's external audience research program including liaison with stakeholders and sharing findings (MHM - Visitor 360).
- Representing State Library on both internal and external user groups, committees, programs and working groups. This includes collaborating with communities of practice, industry bodies, government organisations and targeted specialist marketing services
