CELOTTI WORKFORCE is currently seeking experienced Underground SHOTFIRERS to join our clients operations in the WA iron and goldfield sites. Ideal candidates will have proven shot firing expertise and a strong commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
Safely prepare, load, and detonate explosives according to blast designs and site procedures
Conduct thorough pre-blast checks to ensure safety and compliance
Work closely with drillers and supervisors to deliver precise blast patterns
Manage explosives safely, including storage and handling
Maintain accurate blast records and reports
Monitor environmental conditions to reduce impact from blasting activities
Make sure blast areas are clear and secured prior to detonation
Our Ideal Candidates:
Experience in drill and blast operations
Current WA Dangerous Goods Security Card and Shot Firer Licence (Mandatory)
Manual Driver's Licence (HR licence is a bonus)
Strong knowledge of explosives and blasting techniques
Excellent communication skills and a team-focused, safety-first attitude
