Junior systems engineer - wakulda

We are looking for a Junior Systems Engineer to join the multidisciplinary team supporting the Wakulda Program at Boeing Defence Australia.

Brisbane (or Williamtown)

• Develop and document requirements via drawings, data sets, reports, specifications and supporting data.
• Develop designs based on defined requirements.
• Test and validate designs to meet operational and functional requirements.
• Develop and progress change management artefacts.
• Act as a stakeholder interface to ensure engineering and technical requirements are understood and communicate engineering status on project deliverables.
• Manage design through the system engineering reviews and business gate process.
• Work with the project team to ensure the engineering scope is Developed, Verified and Delivered within quality, schedule and budgetary constraints.
• Identify, mitigate and manage technical and project risks associated with capability delivery.

• Approx. 2 years experience in complex technical development and integration projects.
• Understanding of Systems Engineering principles and lifecycle management, including Mandated System Reviews.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to engage, influence and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders and customers.
• Experience developing and executing against Systems Engineering artefacts, including Systems Engineering Management Plan and Verification and Validation Plan.
• Experience with Change Management processes and progressing change management artefacts.
• Experience in technical problem solving.
• Experience with aerospace and/or defence projects and hold NV1 Clearance.
• Experience supporting projects in an ASDEFCON contract environment.
