Job Description:
As a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee horticultural, turf and landscape maintenance in various open space projects. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure environmental sustainability and best practices are followed across all teams and projects.
You will lead, mentor, manage rosters and motivate a team of skilled professionals in the field of open space management. This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and inspire teams.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in horticulture, turf management and landscape maintenance techniques. You will also possess excellent time management abilities to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
This role is ideal for a passionate and driven individual who excels at motivating teams to maintain lawns, grounds, and landscape assets in pristine condition.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct site assessments, inspecting gardens and parks, generating reports, evaluating performance, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
2. Ensure regular preventative maintenance is conducted on plant and equipment to keep them in optimal working condition.
3. Lead innovations that drive efficiency and performance.
