**The Role**
The Concierge Supervisor is focused on providing efficient service and creating memorable experiences by making emotional connections with all of our guests. In this position, you will have a direct impact on the overall experience of our hotel guests and be responsible for ensuring 100% satisfaction from the moment guests arrive at the hotel until they check out.
This is the ideal position for someone who has a passion for guest service, values problem resolution, and enjoys working in a fast paced setting with the vision of becoming a Chief Concierge.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for the day to day management of Associates working in the Department
- Assist in leading the Concierge Team to deliver an exceptional service experience and brand ambassador
- Handle guest queries and complaints efficiently and effectively whilst providing operational support and supervision on shift
- Provide a structured and consistent onboarding and training experience for Concierge team members
- Assist management with preparing rosters according with the Enterprise Agreement/Award provisions and maintain timesheet approvals
- The Concierge will ensure all guest's needs, queries and problems are anticipated and resolved.
- Concierge Supervisor will be pro-actively involved in the hotel's operations keeping up-to-date with any events happening within the hotel.
- On occasion, concierge may be required to work on the Front Desk and perform Guest Service Agent duties.
- Previous hotel experience as a Concierge or Concierge Supervisor
- A positive, enthusiastic and can-do attitude to caring for our guests and overcoming workplace challenges
- Strong interpersonal skills that will see you create meaningful connections with our guests and colleagues alike
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- A passion for engaging and inspiring a small team
- A proactive problem-solver with strong resolution skills
- Proficient with Microsoft programs, particularly Outlook, Work and Excel
- Previous experience with Opera PMS would be advantageous
- Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
