Metals Processing Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Metals Processing Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a supportive and inclusive network of colleagues from around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate electric induction furnaces safely and efficiently, handling 1-tonne and 500kg charges.
* Use a spectrometer to trim charges and ensure heats conform to Australian standards.
* Maintain furnace and ladle linings to prevent contamination.
* Reline furnaces and ladles as needed.
* Weigh charges accurately and record relevant information for quality control.
* Organize pouring floor operations to meet production targets.
* Safely segregate returns to avoid contamination.
* Maintain spectrometer records and supply analysis certificates when required.
* Arrange for spectrometer service and maintain related records.
Requirements:
* A motivated individual with an impeccable safety record.
* A strong work ethic, along with a willingness to contribute to a dynamic organization.
* Forklift license is desirable but not required.
