At InHealth, we continue to grow our teams and are now looking for a Healthcare Support Worker to join our Endoscopy service. Based at our static site in Braintree, you will play a vital role in delivering high‐quality care using a holistic approach that supports the psychological, physical, and social needs of our patients.

Main duties of the job

* Welcome patients to the clinic professionally, acting as their advocate to ensure privacy and dignity at all times.
* Clean, monitor, and organise equipment as directed, reporting any issues or faults to senior staff.
* Record and relay relevant patient information or observations to senior colleagues.
* Deliver care in line with the care plan set out by the Senior Nurse.
* Maintain strong and effective communication with patients, relatives, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
* Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude, representing InHealth and upholding our commitment to exceptional patient care.

Job responsibilities

Fixed‐Term Contract until 31/12/2026 Full‐Time | 37.5 hours per week 4 days per week | 8am‐6pm Flexible working across Monday to Sunday

About you

* A genuine interest in delivering patient‐centred care, with relevant experience.
* Good understanding of health and safety protocols and infection control standards.
* Flexibility to work various shift patterns to meet service needs.
* Commitment to ongoing learning and maintaining required skills and competencies.
* Strong time‐management skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
