Precision Engineering business in the Northern suburbs is looking a Quality Inspector with CMM experience. This well‑established company specialises in Defence, Aerospace and other high‑end industries, and owns a state‑of‑the‑art CNC machine shop that continually invests in new technology.
Police clearance is required.
Responsibilities
* Operate a CMM machine with MITUTOYO and Cosmos software.
* Conduct visual inspections of CNC‑machined components.
* Perform first‑off and sample inspections, equipment calibration, and prepare work instructions.
* Develop inspection plans and carry out regular audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2000.
Qualifications
* Trade or Engineering qualifications.
* Hands‑on Quality inspection experience.
* Quality inspection skills.
* Toolmaking or CNC machining background is ideal.
* High attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
