Client is an established, well respected and specialist consultancy offering professional construction services across development management, project management and quantity surveying. As result of continued growth, they are looking to hire an Assistant Project Manager to join their business
Your new role
The role is a traditional client-side role. As Assistant PM will be either delivering smaller projects yourself or supporting Senior staff as 2ic on their projects.
The client works end to end - so working alongside variety of clients to manage their projects from inception right through to project delivery. Providing technical leadership from planning, design, approvals, procurement and right through to management of main contractors as a super's rep through to project completion.
The client has varied client base covering public sector projects in health, education, civic as well large asset owners and other private developers working across commercial and residential projects. The role is client facing, so requires an effective positive, proactive communication style.
What you'll need to succeed
The client is looking for an experienced client-side candidate. Ideally having 2-3 years' experience working for a similar consultancy. Candidates will ideally be tertiary qualified in architecture, quantity surveying or construction management.
The client may look at experienced Contract Administrators with main contractors or Architects / Quantity Surveyors from a similar consultancy environment that have a real and genuine interest in working in client-side project management and having a broader impact on project delivery.
