The role
Business Development Manager - MSP Channel - Offshore Tech Talent

Brisbane | Hybrid (1 day in office) | Base $100–120k + OTE $180k-$200k + Uncapped

If you've spent time in the MSP channel, you already know the problem you'd be solving.

MSP founders paying 42% of their costs in labour. Skills that don't exist locally. A Philippine BPO that looked good on paper until it didn't. Whilst 35 staff globally, their team of 6 in Australia is growing and they now they need a channel BDM in Brisbane to land and expand new MSP/SI/ISV partners. You will sign new logos and be incentivised to help them grow their footprint for 12 months.

About the Company

They place high-skilled offshore tech talent from Sri Lanka into MSPs, SIs, and ISVs — automation engineers, Python developers, Modern Workplace specialists, and L3 project engineers — fully loaded at ~25% of the Australian equivalent. Fixed cost. No add-ons.

The Opportunity

This is a growth hire — not a cold start. There are ~60 pipeline opportunities to walk into, a digital marketing engine feeding leads, and the MSP Vendor ecosystem opening new doors every week (e.g. Halo, ConnectWise). You'll own your territory, build trust with MSP founders before they're in market, and land-and-expand accounts for 12 months before they transition to Customer Success.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Sign net new MSP, SI, and ISV partners across white space across Australia
  • Lead discovery conversations with founders, CEOs, and technical leaders
  • Present business cases centred on margin improvement, scalability, and performance
  • Build pipeline through outbound, referrals, inbound leads, and events
  • Manage deals end-to-end from first conversation to close
  • Represent the business at MSP industry events and build your brand in the channel
What We're Looking For

Must have:

  • Genuine MSP channel experience — you know the ecosystem (PSA vendors or distributors)
  • A real network — walk into an MSP event and find faces who know yours
  • Consultative, relationship-led approach — not transactional
  • ~4 years in the channel
  • Brisbane-based (Gold Coast / Sunshine Coast considered)
  • BDM mindset (this is a New Business role)

Nice to have:

  • Experience selling outsourcing, offshoring, or workforce solutions
  • Familiarity with ConnectWise, Autotask, or Halo PSA
