What will you be doing?
Reporting to the Centre Manager, this role leads and mentors a team of qualified technicians and apprentices and is responsible for:
* Oversee daily workflow, job allocation and repair order management.
* Conduct quality control inspections and ensure diagnostic accuracy.
* Support hands-on servicing and repairs where required.
* Manage parts, stock and workshop operations end-to-end.
* Drive safety, compliance, and workshop efficiency.
* Liaise with members, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain RAC's reputation for quality and care.
What are we looking for in you?
* Automotive Trade Qualification (Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology).
* C-Class Driver's Licence and Motor Vehicle Repairer's Licence.
* Proven leadership skills to be able to motivate, guide, and develop your team.
* Strong technical expertise in servicing, diagnostics, and fault-finding.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving ability.
* A genuine passion for delivering workshop excellence and member satisfaction.
This role requires an individual with proven hands-on leadership ability and experience, excellent prioritisation, and organisational skills along with a genuine desire to develop themselves and others.
