About the Role
We are recruiting a Site Engineer for our new Eva Copper Mine Project, located on traditional lands.
This maximum-term contract offers a great opportunity to be part of an exciting project through October 2027.
Key responsibilities include:
* Designing civil construction components for permanent and temporary works.
* Liaising with the Construction Manager to improve processes and clarify design requirements.
* Ensuring efficient and cost-effective civil operations.
* Performing duties as a Quality Management Representative.
* Reporting daily progress, non-compliance issues, and work delays to the Construction Manager.
* Conducting regular inspections of job sites to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
* Actively monitoring the work environment to identify and mitigate hazards.
* Assisting with quality and safety audits.
* Implementing technical and safety requirements for the project.
* Overseeing daily quality control procedures.
* Tracking production and ensuring adherence to cost and schedule targets.
* Contributing to the continuous improvement and innovation of work practices.
About You
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
* 1–2 years of experience in civil construction projects, preferably in mining.
* Possession of a White Card.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced skills.
