About the Role
This position provides an exciting opportunity for a Psychologist interested in working in a community mental health team, particularly those interested in working with our Adult population. Our multidisciplinary team comprises of Registered Nurses, Psychology, Social Work, and Psychiatry, with amazing support from an established team of senior clinicians.
We provide a range of services to consumers, including brief intervention, complex case management, and specialized therapies. These treatments include DBT, CBT-e, SSCM, and EMDR.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assess and develop treatment plans for consumers with varying ranges of mental health conditions.
2. Implement and develop your skills and interest in mental health, including assessment, critical thinking, rapport building, and therapeutic interventions.
3. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to consumers.
4. Participate in regular Clinical Supervision and support, as well as daily multi-disciplinary case review meetings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Provisional psychology applicants, registered psychologists, and senior psychologists are encouraged to apply.
