Occupational Therapist Job Description
Our organization provides workplace injury prevention services and rehabilitation support to help Australians return to work. We're looking for self-starting graduates with a degree in Occupational Therapy to join our team of rehabilitation consultants.
* Evaluate the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have a work-related or non-work-related injury, or who have experienced a work-debilitating illness.
* Conduct assessments such as initial needs, workplace assessments, ergonomics and activities of daily living.
* Conduct specialist functional and pre-employment assessments for corporate customers.
* Help clients identify future employment or training options by reviewing their transferable skills, qualifications and interests.
* Responsible for effective case management to plan, coordinate and monitor your client's progress toward their return-to-work goal.
Required Skills and Qualifications
We're looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:
* A degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Eligibility for AHPRA accreditation upon graduating.
* Have graduated in the last 12 months or be graduating soon.
* Eligibility to be Comcare accredited (desirable but not essential).
* Obtain a current Working with Children Check and a clear pre-employment national criminal check.
* Hold a full drivers' license.
