About the Role:
You'll be working one-on-one with me – a person with a physical disability – supporting me both at home and in the community.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Personal Care (including catheter care and bowel care) showering, dressing and
grooming
* Evening and Bedtime Routine- support with bedroom set-up and night-time routine
* Meal preparation and assistance with feeding and eating
* Light household tasks
* Manual handling - using wheelchair, hoist and lifter
* Assistance with home exercise routine.
* Skin care and simple wound care
* Medication Management
* Community Access
Shifts currently on offer include but are not limited to:
* Monday to Sunday
* * * *
What You'll Need:
The right to live and work in Australia
A current or willing-to-obtain National Police Check
Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail
Driver's license and Own Vehicle
Manual Handling experience
Local to area- drive travel time 30 minutes or less (desirable)
Experience preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
