Job Title: Project Management Office Lead
The IT Project Management Office plays a pivotal role in driving the university's growth, innovation, and digital transformation.
This position is responsible for strengthening project delivery maturity, ensuring IT initiatives are well-governed, strategically aligned, and effectively executed. The PMO Lead oversees portfolio risk and performance, defines and maintains the project management framework, and fosters a collaborative, skilled, and engaged project management community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading the operation and continuous improvement of the IT Project Management Office
* Oversight of portfolio risk, quality assurance, financial performance, and project compliance
* C0aching, mentoring, and capability upliftment across project and business teams
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess postgraduate qualifications, extensive relevant experience, and advanced knowledge of project management frameworks and toolsets. They should demonstrate exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, as well as advanced analytical and business acumen skills.
A strong understanding of project governance, change management, financial management, procurement, and portfolio reporting within complex service organisations is also essential.
The successful candidate will work closely with academic, research, and operational areas to deliver high-impact outcomes, build capability, and ensure strong alignment with organisational processes, standards, and strategic direction.
