Restaurant General Manager Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our Front of House (FOH) team and work in unison with the Head Chef. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep knowledge and experience in creating strong team culture, high standards, and a respectful work environment.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage all restaurant operations, including front and assist with back of house.
* Hire, train, and mentor team members to deliver outstanding service.
* Monitor financial performance: manage budgets, control costs, and optimize profitability.
* Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

* Collaborate with head chef and ownership/upper management on marketing and growth initiatives.
Requirements:
* 3+ years of management experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry.
* Proven leadership and team-building skills.
* Strong knowledge of restaurant financials, inventory, and scheduling.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
