Some key responsibilities would include:
General data entry including invoices and receipts
Processing sales orders
Creating purchase orders
Assisting other department staff with various administrative requests
Answering phones when receptionist is unavailable
Handling basic customer enquiries
Banking
Collecting and posting mail
Basic office housekeeping/daily kitchen cleaning
Set up conference/ training rooms for guests and staff for events and meetings
General administration duties eg. filing, photocopying, creating admin forms, stationery orders
Other basic admin duties such as; stocking kitchen supplies, organising internal celebrations etc
Skills and Experience
Microsoft Office knowledge
Office administration experience desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Good time management and organisational skills
