This is for a commercially astute Development Manager who wants autonomy, end-to-end project control, and the opportunity to put their name to legacy developments. Your Impact (The Role): Drive the full development lifecycle of premium large scale built-form projects from concept and feasibility through to delivery and settlement. Lead the design and consultant teams, ensuring the architectural vision aligns with commercial realities and target market expectations. Navigate complex planning approvals and manage key stakeholder relationships, including local authorities. Oversee project marketing and sales strategies to ensure pre-sale targets are smashed. Maintain tight control over project feasibilities, budgets, and cash flow forecasting. The Expertise You Bring: Proven tenure as a Development Manager (or a high-performing Assistant DM ready to step up) within the Australian built-form space. A track record of taking complex, multi-story residential or mixed-use projects through the planning, design, and delivery phases. Sharp commercial acumen with a deep understanding of project feasibilities, risk mitigation, and construction methodologies. A sophisticated communication style—you can negotiate with tier-1 builders, present to investors, and collaborate seamlessly with creative design teams. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Property, Construction Management, Finance, or Architecture are highly regarded.
