An emphasis on developing good relationships with customers, construction contractors and distribution groups has led to strong growth and positioned us as market leaders in the Electrical Infrastructure field.
Due to this growth we are now seeking aPrimary Design Electrical Engineerto join our team on a full-time basis or part-time basis.
You will report to the Design Team Leader and work primarily on projects across NSW.
What you'll be doing:
Provide electrical engineering design solutions for our clients.
Deliver quality designs in a guaranteed time.
Work as part of a team to produce designs.
Communicate with clients and authorities.
Complete site inspections and testing for your projects.
Exciting projects we expect you to lead or be involved in:
Supply for High Voltage Customers.
Primary Designs for Industrial Developments.
About You
Demonstrated experience with Private HV to AS/NZS ****.
Advanced expertise in ETAP software is required.
Experience in protection design or earthing design.
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant field/experience.
Minimum 2 years experience in Electrical Engineering.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Excellent communications skills.
Has a keen eye for detail.
Is an energetic self-starter.
Works well both individually and in a team.
Has a 'can-do' attitude.
Must have current Australian work authorisation.
Other skills that would be seen as advantageous to your application
Experience with Commisioning and testing of HV Networks.
Registered or be eligible for registration on the National Engineers Register (NER) within the Electrical Category.
Knowledge of the NSW Service and Installation rules.
Experience across a range of electrical design projects.
Good understanding of the ASP Level 3 Design process (Endeavour Energy, Ausgrid & Essential Energy).
ASP 3 Registration with NSW Office of Energy and Climate Change.
Good knowledge of overhead and underground distribution & transmission line design.
