About the Role
This role is a 7:7 roster, available to those residing in Kalgoorlie or willing to relocate. Reporting to the Senior Underground Geologist, you will ensure effective geological data gathering, coordination, and communication for optimum ore extraction.
Responsibilities
* Underground mapping of ore and waste
* Providing direction for ore development headings
About You
You will need previous experience working underground and at least one year of core yard experience. You must have a mature mindset, stay focused on tasks, and enjoy working independently. Key attributes include:
* Understanding of mine planning and contractor management
* General knowledge of Mines Safety and Inspection Act and relevant regulations
* Fundamental understanding of geology, QAQC protocols, and diamond drilling core processing
* Proficiency in MS Office applications and iPad use
* Keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills
