About the role
As the Store Manager at Hot Variety Castlemaine, you'll be responsible for leading and managing a high-performing retail in our Castlemaine store. This fulltime/part-time position is a key role in ensuring the store's success and profitability by driving sales, improving operational efficiency, and providing an exceptional customer experience.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
What you'll be doing
1. Oversee all daily store operations, including staffing, inventory management, and financial reporting
2. Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet business objectives and targets
3. Provide coaching, training, and performance management to the store team to ensure excellent customer service
4. Manage the store budget and optimize costs to improve profitability
5. Ensure the store is well-maintained, visually appealing, and compliant OH&S
What we're looking for
1. A minimum of 3-5 years retail management experience is required, with flexibility within this range for exceptional candidates
2. Retail management experience from any retail sector will be considered
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers, staff, and owners
4. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and time management abilities
5. Familiarity with retail technology, including point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
6. Experience with any POS system is required for this role
7. Passion for providing outstanding customer service and creating a positive store environment
