We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chemical Warehouse Operator to join our team at Challenge Chemicals' facility in Kwinana Beach, Western Australia.
As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in the efficient and safe storage and distribution of our specialty chemical products.
What you'll be doing
Receiving, storing and distributing a range of hazardous and non-hazardous chemical products
Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to load and unload trucks
Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels
Ensuring all warehouse operations comply with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
Assisting in the preparation of delivery orders and coordinating with transport providers
Performing general warehouse housekeeping duties to maintain organisation and cleanliness
Mixing and blending product
Supporting the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives in the warehouse
What we're looking for
Relevant qualifications or experience in warehousing, logistics or chemical handling
Forklift and materials handling equipment operation skills and certification
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numbers and data
Knowledge of inventory management principles and warehouse best practices
Familiarity with chemical safety and hazardous substances handling procedures
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A proactive, safety-conscious approach to work
