About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality, resident-focused services within a warm and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and set personalized goals with residents
* Develop and implement effective therapy plans to foster independence and improve quality of life
* Prescribe aids and equipment as needed
* Maintain open communication with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team
* Supervise and support therapy assistants
* Collaborate with other health professionals for comprehensive care
This is a part-time opportunity, working Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30am to 4:30pm, with flexibility to work alternate days between Monday to Friday. Casual opportunities can be discussed.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have the following qualifications and skills:
* Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
* Registration with the relevant professional body
* Experience working in aged care or a similar setting
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
