About The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Supply Chain Supervisor to oversee forecasting, procurement, and logistics operations within the Australian business unit. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this position will play a key leadership role in managing purchasing processes, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and coordinating supply activities with both local and international suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare annual product forecasts in collaboration with Sales Representatives and the European headquarters to ensure accurate demand planning.
* Manage procurement activities including purchasing raw materials locally and finished goods from international suppliers.
* Coordinate logistics and supplier deliveries to ensure products are available in line with business and customer requirements.
* Monitor and maintain warehouse inventory levels, ensuring a minimum 98% stock accuracy and preventing stock shortages.
* Negotiate pricing, freight costs, and supplier agreements to achieve cost-effective purchasing outcomes.
* Maintain procurement records, purchase orders, and reporting to support financial tracking and compliance.
* Lead and support warehouse, purchasing, and logistics staff while fostering strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
* Oversee quarterly warehouse stocktakes and ensure accurate inventory management processes are followed.
* Contribute to operational improvements, system utilisation (BI and AX), and ensure adherence to company procedures and safety standards.
Essential Skills, Tickets, And Experience
* Minimum 3 years experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics roles
* Previous experience in forecasting, purchasing, and inventory management
* Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
* Ability to analyse demand forecasts and align procurement planning accordingly
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Strong attention to detail and reconciliation capabilities
* Ability to work autonomously while managing competing priorities
* Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
* Experience with ERP systems, BI tools, or AX systems highly regarded
* Current Drivers Licence
* Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred
* Diploma level qualification or higher in Supply Chain / Logistics advantageous
* Knowledge of international supply chain operations highly regarded
