NHP are seeking a visionary State Manager – Sales to lead our high-performing teams across NSW and ACT. This critical leadership opportunity has become available due to an internal move – highlighting the strength of our talent pipeline and our commitment to career development. As the senior business leader in the state, you’ll be the driving force behind sales performance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, you will lead, coach and empower a talented group of Sales Managers to execute channel strategies, and ensure our teams are aligned, accountable, and thriving. What You will Do: Lead & Inspire: Coach and develop Sales Managers to deliver on sales targets, margin goals, and cost management Customer Champion: Act as the senior escalation point for customer issues, ensuring swift resolution and exceptional service Strategic Execution: Oversee local implementation of national channel strategies and sales programs Performance Focused: Drive business outcomes through effective pipeline management, budget achievement, and margin growth Relationship Builder: Maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry bodies, and government stakeholders Team Development: Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement To thrive in this role, you will bring: Proven sales leadership : demonstrated success leading high-performing sales teams in complex, fast-paced environments Strategic Mindset : Strong ability to align local execution with national strategies, identifying growth opportunities and driving commercial outcomes Customer-First Focus : A deep commitment to customer excellence, with experience resolving complex issues and enhancing satisfaction at every touchpoint Purpose-Driven Leadership : A collaborative, values-based approach to leadership that inspires and empowers others to perform at their best Commercial Acumen : Strong understanding of sales metrics, margin management, and operational efficiency to deliver on business goals Influential Communicator : Skilled at building trust with internal teams, key clients, and external stakeholders To be considered for this role, you will have a combination of strong Sales experience, coupled with exceptional leadership & management experience to influence, support and guide your team.
