Are you a seasoned leader with a knack for turning complex operations into high-performing success stories? We are seeking a Branch Manager to lead our Clients Mackay operations. This is a pivotal role where you will balance commercial strategy, people leadership, and hands-on operational management within the industrial construction sector.
As the Branch Manager, you aren't just overseeing a site; you are the architect of a high-performance culture, ensuring our modular solutions meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Your role is multifaceted, focusing on four primary pillars of business success:
1. Leadership & Culture
* Energise the Team: Recruit, onboard, and develop a high-performance team, fostering a culture of accountability and alignment with company values.
* Performance Management: Set clear directions and targets, ensuring every team member is empowered and held to account for their conduct and productivity.
2. Commercial & Financial Acumen
* P&L Ownership: Drive financial performance across Revenue, EBITDA, working capital, and margin improvement.
* Strategic Planning: Develop and execute branch plans that align with broader business growth aspirations and market trends in Central QLD.
* Asset Management: Oversight of the hire fleet, including maintenance, refurbishment recommendations, and expense control.
3. Operational Excellence & Risk
* Project Delivery: Ensure the timely delivery and installation of buildings, meeting strict quality specifications and customer expectations.
* Governance: Manage quotes, tenders, and contracts in accordance with delegations of authority and statutory obligations.
* Safety & Mitigation: Identify and evaluate risks, implementing robust mitigation strategies to protect our people and the business.
4. Customer & Relationship Management
* Strategic Growth: Develop high-level sales growth plans and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
* Client Advocacy: Build strong, collaborative relationships with key industrial clients and drive a positive trend in Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
What You Bring to the Role

* Proven Leadership: Extensive experience managing diverse teams (Sales, Operations, and Technical) within the construction or industrial sectors.
