Program: HABIT-ILE
HABIT-ILE (Hand-Arm Bimanual Intensive Training Including Lower Extremity) is a two-week intensive program run by Cerebral Palsy Alliance for children and teens with cerebral palsy. The program focuses on improving bimanual skills and motor functions through engaging, goal-directed therapy.
Program Dates & Times
Week 1: ***** January ****, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Week 2: ***** January ****, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Tasks & Responsibilities
Contribute to an engaging, goal-oriented, strength-based group environment.
Support kids 1:1 to engage in goal-directed therapy.
Assist with activity set-up and pack down.
Note: Volunteers do not assist with direct care duties (e.g., mealtime assistance, personal care, lifting, medication, or transport) unless training has been provided.
Volunteer will be supervised by an Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist.
Role Requirements
Age 16+.
NDIS Worker Screening.
Working With Children Check (NSW).
Working With Vulnerable People Check (ACT).
