We are looking for a Cost Estimator to work on an exciting and significant initiative in Defence.
This role provides complex cost modelling and estimation for a major transformation program, helping shape financially sound delivery options. It involves development of defensible estimates and risk‐informed insights that guide strategic decision‐making for the critical initiative.
The technical skills we're looking for:
* Demonstrated expertise in Defence cost‐modelling, including the use of specialised costing tools to develop credible ICT and capability cost models.
* Strong understanding of Defence strategic and governance frameworks, supported by sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and estimation standards.
* Proven ability to translate cost insights, risks, and assumptions into defensible, evidence‐based investment options for senior decision‐makers.
* Experience in cloud and consumption‐based financial management (FinOps) and structured analytical techniques (SATs).
* Program / Project Management experience is highly desirable.
