Headquartered in Queensland, with a purpose-built manufacturing site in Penrith, NSW, our company operates the first domestic production facility in Australia dedicated to tofu-based and enzyme-enhanced natural litter. Our products are formulated using locally sourced agricultural waste such as oat husks and sugarcane bagasse, addressing both pet welfare and sustainability. TF Pet Lab partners with breeders, veterinarians, and leading retailers such as Woolworths, Coles, Pet Circle and Cat by Dr Lisa.

**Position Overview**The Product Examiner will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the external quality of cat litter products across our production lines. The role focuses on visual and structural inspection of finished goods to ensure consistency, presentation, and compliance with internal quality standards.**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Examine clumping cat litter products for visible or structural defects, including shape consistency, moisture variation, and packaging integrity.
- Record and classify inspection results using internal QA documentation systems.
- Interpret product specifications and compare physical output against standards.
- Approve or reject batches based on appearance and conformity checks.
- Collaborate with production staff to rectify visible defects and prevent recurrence.
- Maintain calibration records for measuring tools used in physical inspection.
- Studying product specifications and taking measurements to determine conformity to specifications
- Examining and marking output for visible defects such as cracks, holes and breakages
- Making minor repairs and adjustments to products
- Compiling quality assurance reports, maintaining documentation and reporting findings
- Examining products for defects and grading produce
- Designating grading of produce and recording details of assessments according to classification system
- Collecting and labelling samples for inspection
- Recording details of sampling procedures and sources of samples
- Preparing samples and carrying out prescribed tests
